Obituary of Michael DiMeo
Michael Eric DiMeo, 41, of Budd Lake, NJ passed away on January 7, 2018 at his home. Michael was born on January 2, 1977 in New York, NY and has lived in Budd Lake his entire life. He enjoyed all types of food, traveling to Italy, Diet Mountain Dew, and was an avid sports fan. Growing up he would always play hockey with his uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends. Michael liked the Miami Dolphins and New York Yankees but his favorite sports team of all was his beloved New York Islanders. The only thing to surpass his love for his Islanders was his deep unwavering love of family.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Gino and Susan (O'Toole) DiMeo; two brothers, Giovanni and Joey DiMeo; grandparents, John and Patricia O'Toole; aunts and uncles, Joanne, Frankie, Kim, Kelly, Jay, Martin, Frank, and Maria; many cousins, Brett, Jamie, Emma, Nick, Victoria, Stephanie, Casey, Kevin, Patricia, Michelle, Susie, Matthew, Francine, Dynasty, Faith, Johnn, Gianna, Johnluca, Andrew, Ryan, Connor, Giovanni, Frankie, Maggie, Gianna, Alex, Joey, Daniela, Vincenzo, and Francesca.
Michael's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 4PM- 8PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (908) 879-3090, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Route 206), Chester, NJ 07930. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday January 11, 2018 at 10:30AM at St. Jude RC Parish in Budd Lake. Interment will be held privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers the family Prefers donations be made to American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 15829 Arlington, VA 22215.
