Obituary of Jamie Dalton
Jamie John Dalton, 49, of Wharton, NJ passed away on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover, NJ surrounded by his family. Jamie was born on May 21, 1969 in Mount Vernon, NY to John Dalton and his late mother Renna McAdams. Jamie was a career paramedic in New York City and dedicated his life to saving lives and helping others in need. He loved the ocean and watching over his three younger brothers as the “leader of the pack”.
Jamie is survived by his three children, Matthew, Jessica, and Michael; his father, John Dalton, two brothers, Michael Dalton, and Sean Dalton; five nephews, Matthew, Brandon, Daniel, Caden, and Cameron; significant other, Flordeliza Flores; his best friend and most loyal companion, his dog Nacho; and by many other loving family members and friends.
Jamie’s Life Celebration will include a memorial visitation on Saturday June 23, 2018 from 11am to 1pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road, Chester, NJ 07930 (908) 879-3090. A memorial service will begin at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately by Jamie’s Family.
Friends are kindly invited to join the family for a repast at Hoffman Hall (Second Floor of the Chester Firehouse) 86 Main St, Chester, NJ 07930 immediately following the service at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association American Stroke Association PO Box 3049 Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
