Obituary of Francis McNulty
Francis Thomas McNulty "Tom", 93, of Chester, NJ passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at home. Tom was born on April 11, 1925 in the Bronx, NY. He has lived in Chester for the past year and previously lived in North Brunswick, NJ. He worked for New York Telephone Company for 35 years before working for North Brunswick as a crossing guard for 29 years. He also owned 4 + 2 Construction. Tom was a proud WWII US Army veteran and served in Normandy, France.
Tom had many hobbies including woodworking and collecting CD's and lighthouses. He was an extremely hard worker and commuted on the bus to work for over 30 years. Tom was an avid reader and especially enjoyed Western Novels. Most of all he was a dedicated family man.
Tom is survived by his children, Douglas McNulty and wife Elizabeth and Jay McNulty and wife Cindi, his grandchildren, James, Colleen, Thomas, Stephen, Katherine, John and Shaun, and his great grandchildren, Vivian, Shannon, Madison, Jack and Kaylee. He was predeceased by his wife, Vivian G. McNulty (Douglass), his daughter, Judy McNulty, and his 3 siblings, Katherine, Cookie, and Margaret.
A Celebration of Tom's Life will include a visitation on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 10 am funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at St. Lawrence Church in Chester, NJ. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Jamesburg, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the JFK Medical Center Foundation, 80 James St, Edison, NJ 08820.
