Obituary of Frank LoPresti
Frank LoPresti, 84, of Flanders, NJ passed away on Thursday August 9, 2018 in Morris Plains, NJ. Frank was born on September 30, 1933 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Basilio and Julia LoPresti. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957 and later graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson. Frank worked as a Claims Adjuster for Allstate for over 30 years. Following his retirement, he worked as the custodian at St. Jude RC Church in Budd Lake for 20 years, where he was a parishioner since 1969. He loved being involved in the Mt. Olive Recreation sports programs, including coaching for Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball, as well as the Jr. Marauders Football League. He also served as President of both the Babe Ruth and Jr. Marauders programs. Frank was an avid New York Giants Fan and New York Yankees Fan.
He is survived by his three devoted children, Michele Polk (Matthew), Frank LoPresti (Chrissy), Julia Yotcoski (Stephen); four cherished grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary LoPresti; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Michelena on February 10, 2018; and by his six siblings.
Frank’s Life Celebration will include a visitation on Wednesday August 15, 2018 from 4pm-8pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Rd. (corner of rt. 206) Chester, NJ 07930. A 10:30AM Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday August 16, 2018 at St. Jude RC Church in Budd Lake, NJ. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester, NJ.
