Obituary of Robert DeRise
Robert Louis DeRise age 72, of Randolph, NJ passed away on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at the Morrisitown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. Bob was born on October 7, 1945 to the late Alfonse DeRise and the late Anna Sorrentino DeRise. Previously from Morristown, he had been living in Randolph since 2001.
Bob was a commercial film editor. He was owner and film editor of A Cut Above Editorial Inc. and Ruff House Editorial Inc. in Manhattan, NY. He was also an avid clock collector.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Fabrienne DeRise and Bianca DeRise-Johnson, his dear grandsons, Rhett Spadacene and Shay Johnson, his sons-in-law Rolland Spadacene and Christopher Johnson, his brother George DeRise and sister-in-law Kathleen DeRise, and his brother-in-law Vincent D’Ambrosio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Marie Raffa, Alphonse DeRise and Anna D’Ambrosio.
Visitation for Bob will be on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ 07930. Tel (908) 879-3090.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon at the St. Lawerence Church, 375 Main Street in Chester, NJ following the visitation. Burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on 85 Pleasnt Hill Rd. in Chester following the Mass.
