Obituary of Dorothy Moglia
Dorothy L. Moglia, 90, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Little Brook Nursing Home in Califon, NJ with her daughter and niece Sherry by her side. Dorothy was born on March 18, 1928 in Belleville, NJ to the late Ramon and Mae Kramer. Dorothy was married to her husband Joseph for 64 years, Joseph preceded Dorothy in death in August 2017. She and Joseph were residents of Chester for more than 50 years. Her family, friends, and home brought her great happiness throughout her life.
Dorothy began a career with the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company where she made many lifelong friends. She became a fulltime homemaker after her daughter was born. In later years, she worked at Mangel’s Homemade Candy store in Chester where she made many new lasting friendships.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Moglia; two loving grandchildren, Matthew Casiciotta, and Keira Vitale; and two siblings, Raymond Kramer and Florence Lake. Dorothy was preceded in death by a Brother Stanley Kramer, and Sisters Evelyn Totaro and Lois Castleton.
A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will include a visitation on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 2PM-7PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (908) 879-3090, 15 Furnace Road (corner of Rt. 206) Chester, NJ 07930. A service will begin at 6PM and will conclude visitation. Interment will be held privately Saturday December 8, 2018 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
