Obituary of William Mueller
William Mueller, 85, of Far Hills, NJ passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at home. Bill was born and raised in El Paso, Texas on March 12, 1934. He has lived in Far Hills, NJ since 1965. Bill received his B.S. and PhD from Rice University. He was a Chemical Engineer for Exxon for over 34 years and traveled the world with the company.
Bill was a world bird watcher, with over 8,000 life birds. He enjoyed traveling to remote places, especially to Attu, Alaska. Bill was one of the kindest people you could know and had his own form of generosity. He was a devoted father and grandfather. "Pa" was a role model to his grandson, who is following in his footsteps studying to be a Chemical Engineer.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Heather Santos and husband Alex, grandson, Jason Santos, his significant other, Daphne Gemmill of Washington D.C., sister, Elizabeth Waldron, and many other loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann Mueller, in 2006.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
