Obituary of Angela Adams

Angela Marie Adams, born August 6, 1958, left this world suddenly on August 29, 2019 at the age of 61.

Being born in Missouri, she moved frequently as a child but finally found her home in Long Valley, NJ in 1979. It was here she welcomed the lights of her life, children Johnny and Jenna as well as her best friend and soul mate, Jim Toia.

Angela had a passion for music and was best known for her angelic alto voice in the acoustic trio, The Partners. After The Partners, Angela continued to share her love for singing locally and in her winter home, Key West. In addition to singing, Angela found a second calling as a registered nurse, using her compassion and expertise to help those in need. Throughout her experiences, she touched many lives, developing lifelong friends whom she cared for and loved as family. Everyone around felt her light, energy, warmth and love. Angela will be sorely missed by all who knew her. We ask she always be remembered as that youthful, smiling, beautiful, barefoot woman up on stage.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Morgan and Ryan (and one on the way), her children Jenna Gantner and Johnny Gantner, her Son-in-law, Nick Constantine and daughter-in-law, Jamie Gantner, her husband Jim Toia, her mother, Rita, sister, Mary, beloved dog, Dink and countless friends from every place and persuasion.

Services will be held at Jim and Angela's home, 238 Beacon Hill Rd, Califon, NJ. Gathering will be from 4-6pm with memorial service to follow at 6pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Friends and family are asked to please wear bright colors and feel free to leave their shoes at home.
