Visitation at Funeral Home
Obituary of Gayle Lenore Kiniery
Gayle Lenore Kiniery, 58, of Flanders, NJ passed away on October 13th, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Gayle was born on October 25th, 1960 in Staten Island, NY. She grew up in Staten Island, NY and Scotch Plains, NJ, eventually moving to Flanders 26 years ago. Gayle received her Bachelor's in Education from Rutgers University and her Master's degree in Information Technology from Steven's Institute of Technology. She recently retired as a Director of Supply Chain at BASF Corporation in Florham Park, NJ.
Gayle loved cooking, traveling, and trips to the family's beach house down the Jersey Shore. She enjoyed watching the Yankees, and, most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family. Gayle was ahead of her time, breaking many barriers in the course of her career and life. Her friends were her family and she redefined what a family looks like.
Gayle is predeceased by her father, Donald Francis Kiniery and her husband of 27 years, Gerald Vincent Boyle. Gayle is survived by her sons, Evan Lenore Pines-Boyle and wife Elizabeth, Scott Thomas Boyle and wife Jamie, Justin Christopher Boyle and wife Heather, and Ryan Matthew Boyle; her grandchildren, Claire Libby Boyle and Thomas Glenn Boyle; her mother and father, June and Torben Danielsen; her brother, Gary Thomas Kiniery and wife Annette, her sisters, Gina Liss, Eileen Luongo, and Sandi Ochoa Quesada, and a multitude of friends that she considered family.
A celebration of Gayle's life will include a visitation on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 from 4PM to 7PM, with a funeral service beginning at 6:30PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. Final interment will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ali Forney Center for LGBT youth (www.aliforneycenter.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donate.event&eventID=1).
Gayle gave in death, as she gave in life. As an organ and tissue donor, her spirit will live on in the many lives.
